Common GLP-1 side effects
- •Mild to moderate nausea (most common, usually resolves within 1 to 2 weeks)
- •Reduced appetite (intended effect)
- •Constipation or loose stools
- •Fatigue, especially in the first weeks
- •Mild headache
Rare but serious — seek care immediately
- •Severe abdominal pain (possible pancreatitis — seek care immediately)
- •Allergic reaction (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing)
- •Sudden vision changes
- •Severe dehydration from prolonged vomiting
Who should not take GLP-1 medication
- •Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma
- •Multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2
- •History of pancreatitis
- •Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- •Active gallbladder disease
How to report an adverse event
To us: Email safety@zenoryva.com with your member ID, the medication, and a description of what happened. Our medical team will follow up within one business day.
To the FDA: Adverse events involving compounded medications can be reported to FDA MedWatch at fda.gov/medwatch.
