Medical Emergency?

ZenOryva is not an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. Do not use this website to seek urgent medical attention.

1. Not Medical Advice

The content published on ZenOryva.com -- including articles, blog posts, quiz results, coaching materials, and any other written or visual content -- is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical consultation.

Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or modifying any medication, supplement, or treatment program. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this website.

2. Telehealth Services and the Provider Relationship

ZenOryva is a technology platform that connects individuals with independently licensed healthcare providers for telehealth evaluations. ZenOryva does not practice medicine and is not a medical provider, medical group, or licensed healthcare facility.

When you complete a health intake on our platform, your information is reviewed by an independent licensed physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant who is solely responsible for the clinical evaluation and any prescribing decisions. Any provider-patient relationship that is formed exists exclusively between you and the prescribing provider -- not between you and ZenOryva.

ZenOryva does not direct, supervise, or control the clinical judgment of any healthcare provider on our platform. Providers prescribe at their sole discretion and in compliance with applicable state medical practice laws.

3. Compounded Medications and FDA Status

Medications available through ZenOryva -- including compounded semaglutide -- are prepared by licensed 503A compounding pharmacies based on a valid prescription from an independent provider. The following disclosures apply to all compounded medications dispensed through prescriptions written on our platform:

  • Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished drug products. They have not undergone FDA review for safety, efficacy, or manufacturing quality as finished formulations
  • The active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) used in compounding -- such as semaglutide -- may be the same as those found in FDA-approved medications; however, the compounded formulations themselves are distinct and have not been individually reviewed or approved by the FDA
  • Compounded medications are legally prepared under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and may be prescribed when a commercially available product does not meet a patient's specific clinical needs as determined by a licensed provider
  • ZenOryva does not manufacture, compound, store, or dispense any medications. All medication preparation and dispensing is performed solely by the compounding pharmacy named on your prescription label
  • Questions about a specific compounded medication's ingredients, sterility, or stability should be directed to the dispensing pharmacy

4. No Guarantee of Prescription

Completing the ZenOryva health assessment, creating an account, or purchasing a membership plan does not guarantee that a healthcare provider will prescribe medication to you. All prescribing decisions are made solely by the licensed provider based on your submitted medical history, reported health conditions, and their independent clinical evaluation.

A provider may determine that you are not a candidate for the requested treatment for any clinical reason, including but not limited to contraindications, incomplete or inconsistent health information, or conditions that require in-person evaluation. ZenOryva has no influence over these decisions.

If you complete an intake and are not approved for medication by the reviewing provider, you will receive a full refund of any amounts paid for that membership period. Please contact support@ZenOryva.com if you have not received a refund within 5 business days of a denial.

5. Risks and Side Effects

All medications carry potential risks and side effects. You should discuss the full risk profile of any prescribed medication with your provider before beginning treatment. The following is a non-exhaustive summary for informational purposes only and does not substitute for your provider's clinical guidance.

Common side effects of GLP-1 receptor agonists (including semaglutide):

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Constipation
  • Abdominal pain or discomfort
  • Decreased appetite
  • Fatigue
  • Injection site reactions

Serious but rare risks may include:

  • Pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas) -- stop use and seek medical attention if you experience severe or persistent abdominal pain
  • Gallbladder problems, including gallstones or cholecystitis
  • Kidney problems or worsening of existing kidney disease
  • Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), particularly if used with other diabetes medications
  • Serious allergic reactions (anaphylaxis or angioedema)
  • Changes in heart rate
  • Risk of thyroid C-cell tumors has been observed in animal studies. GLP-1 receptor agonists should not be used in patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)

This list is not comprehensive. Discuss all current medications, supplements, and health conditions with your provider to ensure GLP-1 therapy is appropriate for you.

6. Emergency Disclaimer

ZenOryva is not an emergency medical service and cannot provide urgent or emergency medical care. Our platform is designed for non-urgent, elective weight-management consultations only.

If you experience a medical emergency -- including but not limited to chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe allergic reaction, loss of consciousness, stroke symptoms, or severe abdominal pain -- call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Do not wait for a response from ZenOryva.

If you experience a serious side effect or adverse reaction that you believe is related to a medication prescribed through our platform, contact your prescribing provider immediately and seek emergency care if the situation is urgent.

7. Adverse Event Reporting

If you experience a serious adverse event or unexpected reaction related to a medication dispensed through a prescription written on our platform, you are encouraged to:

  • Report the event to your ZenOryva prescribing provider immediately through your account portal or by emailing support@ZenOryva.com
  • Report the event to the FDA MedWatch program, which monitors adverse events associated with medical products including compounded medications:
    Phone: 1-800-FDA-1088 (1-800-332-1088)
    Online: www.fda.gov/medwatch
  • Report the event to the dispensing compounding pharmacy, whose contact information appears on your medication label

Reporting adverse events helps the FDA and healthcare community monitor the safety of medications and protect public health.

8. Individual Results and Testimonials

Weight loss results vary significantly from person to person and depend on many factors including individual biology, health conditions, adherence to the treatment protocol, dietary habits, physical activity, and other lifestyle variables. ZenOryva does not guarantee any specific outcome from the use of its platform, coaching services, or prescribed medications.

Testimonials, member stories, before-and-after images, and case studies featured on this website reflect the personal experiences of individual users and are not necessarily representative of typical results. Individual outcomes may be materially different from those described or depicted. These accounts are provided for illustrative purposes only and should not be interpreted as a prediction or guarantee of your own results.

9. Third-Party Links

ZenOryva.com may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services for informational purposes. These links do not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by ZenOryva of the third-party content, products, or services.

ZenOryva has no control over the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party website.
