- 503A Pharmacy
- A licensed pharmacy that compounds medications for individual patients pursuant to a valid prescription, governed by state pharmacy boards.
- 503B Outsourcing Facility
- A facility registered with the FDA that may compound large batches of sterile medications without a prescription. Subject to higher federal quality standards than 503A.

- AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
- The practice of structuring web content so AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) can cite it accurately.

- BMI (Body Mass Index)
- A weight-to-height ratio used to screen for weight-related health risk. ZenOryva considers BMI alongside other indicators for eligibility.
- BPC-157
- A synthetic peptide derived from a protein in stomach acid, prescribed for soft-tissue and gut healing.

- Compounded Medication
- A medication prepared by a licensed pharmacy under a prescription, rather than mass-produced as a brand-name finished product.

- DHT (Dihydrotestosterone)
- A potent androgen derived from testosterone. Sensitivity to DHT is the primary driver of pattern hair loss.

- ED (Erectile Dysfunction)
- A common condition involving difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection. Often treated with PDE-5 inhibitors like sildenafil or tadalafil.

- GHK-Cu
- A copper-binding peptide naturally found in human plasma, used topically and by injection to support skin elasticity, hair density, and tissue repair.
- GLP-1 (Glucagon-Like Peptide-1)
- A naturally occurring hormone released after eating that signals satiety and slows gastric emptying. GLP-1 receptor agonists mimic this hormone for weight management.

- The US Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act — the law governing how protected health information must be safeguarded.
- HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy)
- Replacement of hormones that are no longer being produced at adequate levels. Includes bioidentical estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone protocols.

- A growth-hormone secretagogue peptide that stimulates pulses of growth hormone from the pituitary gland.
